Founded by Elie Wiesel, the center supports Ethiopian Israeli children & families by providing educational services and enrichment programs to over 700 children annually. The goal of the centers is to narrow the inequality gap and give Ethiopian-Israelis the opportunity to integrate and participate fully in Israeli society, giving Ethiopian children the chance to excel.

Pilavin Gates Day Care Center | $95,000 |
One of the largest Day Care Centers operating in Rishon Lezion, serving 115 children with 19 staff; babies from 4 months to 3 years. Providing enrichment programs, healthy meals, extended hours, and parenting education lectures.
Renovations include installation of new flooring throughout (classrooms, lobby, kitchen and offices), a new entrance, replacement of classroom doors, and painting throughout the facility. |

Emergency Bomb Shelters | $50,000/$25,000 |
Emergency Bomb Shelters in Nachlat Yehuda School and Youth Village Converting and furnishing areas in different buildings on campus into dual purpose rooms as Emergency Bomb Shelters and activity/meeting spaces.

Early Age Developmental Program | $15,000 |
This program is designed to identify and assist children with delayed development enabling them to derive the maximum benefits from their early age education. Children with physical special needs, such as sensory deficiencies, cerebral palsy, communication difficulties, motor difficulties, and emotional control and social adaptation issues all benefit from this program. WIZO FL runs 4 Day Care Centers where special needs children are integrated as an essential part of the day care center's activities.

Safety Net Programs | $5,000 |
Safety Net is a yearlong reintegration program for women and families who are returning to the community after living in shelters for abused women. The program provides three levels of support: economic, therapeutic, and vocational. Over 90 women and more than 200 children in 5 cities attend the Safety Net program every year. The program welcomes women from all communities, religious affiliations and cultural backgrounds, aiding them in creating healthy, stable lives and creates a support network. |

Therapy Programs for At-Risk Youth | $3,600 |
Therapy programs specially geared for teens to overcome trauma, cope with their troubled past, and improve self-esteem and social skills. Interventions include traditional therapies and nontraditional therapies including art, music, dance, horseback riding and animal-assisted therapy, giving them tools to reach personal and academic success. Over 100 youth in WIZO Schools and Youth Villages supported by WIZO FL benefit from these therapies.
