Who We Are
At the same time, we reunite with and meet new friends by attending beautiful friend raisers and fundraisers to strengthen the bond within our group and to support our community at large. We welcome everyone to join in our efforts. By becoming a WIZO member you become a part of a community, you become a part of the WIZO family.
For the coming year we have many special events planned for 2013. Among many is Ilanit Tikva’s most notorious event, the exquisite Community Bat Mitzvah - performed yearly.
Also, on May 7, 2013 at our WIZO Florida Mother’s Day luncheon, Ilanit Tikva will launch WIZO’s first ever bilingual English/Spanish multi-ethic cookbook. The recipes are compilations of traditional generational Jewish recipes put together by community volunteers in a creative and delicious cookbook named “From our Kitchen to Yours”. This beautiful cookbook is being created by a wonderful group of hardworking women in our community under the leadership of our cookbook chair Hanna Dorfzaun.
